Social responsibility report guidelines for the Elderly Care Sector
The growing complexity that characterizes the productive activities in Europe encourages an increasing recognition of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The European community has needs, requirements, and expectations that affect the development of enterprise and its economic sustainability.
To maintain system competitiveness, companies need a broad and shared “social consensus” of all stakeholders in the communities in which they operate.
The European Confederation of Care Home Organisations (Echo) and its members, representing private elderly care sectors, recognize the need to adopt a model of Social Reporting (i.e. a comprehensive and authoritative managerial and financial communication) to ensure transparency and efficiency.
